Taronga Zoo is preparing for a strategic review of its international tourism business over the next few months, Zoo Director, Cameron Kerr, said today. The review will examine how Taronga approaches international tourism in the next five years. With the changing international market, the review will help the Zoo identify priorities and the resource structure needed to continue to provide great wildlife experiences to the broadest possible range of visitors from overseas. This builds on the role played over the last 15 years by Australian Attractions Pty Ltd whose consultation and representation has made a much-appreciated contribution to the growth in Taronga’s international tourism business.
