Dave, TWPZ The third breeding season for the Tasmanian Devil insurance population at Taronga Western Plains Zoo is in full swing with a number of pairs already together.  Taronga Western Plains Zoo currently holds 28 Tasmanian Devils although six of the animals which were born to the breeding program last year are not yet mature enough to breed.  It is hoped that this year will be a bumper year for breeding with lots of joeys being born, building on the successes from 2008 and 2009. Stay tuned for news of the pittter patter of little feet in the not to distant future.
