Kristie, Wildlife Hospital Currently we are caring for a young Barking Owl who was brought into the Taronga Western Plains Zoo Wildlife Hospital by a WIRES carer.  He was found on the ground and had been attacked by crows. Immediately we administered emergency care including medications, fluids and tube fed the youngster to try and stabilise his health and start him on the road to recovery. The Barking Owl is currently doing well and will stay in our care for some time until he has recovered fully.
