Christmas has come early for the Ring-tailed Lemurs which received some special treats today just before Christmas.  Keepers surprised the Ring-tailed Lemurs with their very own Christmas tree which had fruit skewers, flowers and honey-coated pine cones as ornaments.  The Lemurs also received a bonbon each that had some of their favourite seeds inside.

The Ring-tailed Lemurs were very excited about their Christmas surprise and before any decorations where even placed in the tree they were already climbing up into the tree to check it out.  The fruit skewers and pine cones where a big hit, with these edible ornaments being removed from the tree first.  It was definitely a Christmas feast for the primates today!
