Zoo Grooves tickets are now on sale. Get your hands on the hottest ticket in town for this annual concert event during the October long weekend, Saturday 1 October 2011, at Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s African Picnic Ground.
Headlining Zoo Grooves this year is 1927, well known for their hit singles ‘That’s When I Think of You,’ ‘You’ll Never Know’ and ‘Compulsory Hero. They are sure to rock the stage. Supporting 1927 will be crowd favourites, the Nevilles and Dubbo local band, Mumblepants.
Enjoy some great live entertainment, animal encounters and free activities for the kids at this great family day out. There is plenty of food and beverages on offer, although no BYO alcohol allowed.
Zoo Grooves is the perfect event to get a group of friends together or the family and sit back and relax on a picnic rug with great food and enjoy some fabulous live entertainment.

The “NRMA Den” will also be at Zoo Grooves where NRMA Members can explore a dedicated area with animal encounters, lots of activities for the kids plus the opportunity to go into the draw to win a stay at Zoofari Lodge.
Zoo Grooves will kick off at 12:30pm with gates open for event-goers at 12:00pm. Last entry is at 4pm.
This year’s event will support the Zoo’s conservation program for the Tasmanian Devil. Tickets to Zoo Grooves are available online at www.taronga.org.au, over the phone or at the Zoo’s ticketing counter, Dubbo Visitor Information Centre or the NRMA Dubbo office.
