About the program

Designed just for curious, animal‑loving kids, the Junior Keeper program invites 8 - 11 year olds to step into the boots of a zookeeper for a day.

In a small group, alongside Taronga's friendly staff, participants will learn daily routines of our animals, go behind-the-scenes of the Zoo and try out fun, hands‑on keeper tasks.

$170 per child:
Includes Zoo entry for child in the program, t-shirt, completion certificate plus one (1) adult zoo admission on the date of child participating in the program.

Zoo Friends Discount*: $144 - per child
*Must be a current Taronga Zoo Friend to redeem the 15% discount. Discount does not apply to gift vouchers.
