Stage 6: Observing Animal Behaviour

Overview

Behavioural observations allow Taronga Scientists to collect and record data that can lead to the development of a testable hypothesis. From this, scientists can monitor changes animals may display, giving insight into to ensure animal health, wellbeing and survival. In this workshop, students will be introduced to the necessity of observation to drive scientific investigation. Students will collect primary data through a series animal observations collating and communicating their findings.

Availability

Workshops are available Tuesday to Friday with session times at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm. Bookings for next calender year open up Week 1 of Term 4. Please email the Taronga Education Team for questions about availability.
