Any remaining balances on the gift cards can be redeemed within the Zoo’s.
Where can I buy a Taronga Gift Card?
Taronga Gift Cards can be purchased online through our official website. Once you’ve ordered, you’ll receive your digital gift card via email and SMS, powered by True Rewards.
Can I buy a physical gift card?
At this time, Taronga Gift Cards are available as digital Gift Cards only, making them fast, convenient, and environmentally friendly.
Using Your Gift Card or Voucher
How do I redeem my Taronga Digital Accommodation Gift Card?
A: Your digital Taronga Gift Card can be redeemed online or in person. Simply enter your card details at checkout when booking online, any additional balances may be used in person by presenting your digital gift card at one of our accommodation properties at Taronga Zoo Sydney or Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo.
I have a voucher number that looks like HERO-1234-4567 — how do I use it?
A: As there are still gift vouchers in circulation from our old provider you will still be able to redeem these while the voucher is valid. If your voucher number begins with HERO-, please enter this code in the Promo Code field when selecting your booking dates online. The value of your voucher will automatically apply as a discount to your booking total.
Can I use my Taronga Digital Accommodation Gift Card across both zoos?
Yes! Taronga Digital Accommodation Gift Cards powered by True Rewards can be redeemed at both Taronga Zoo Sydney and Taronga Western Plains Zoo Dubbo accommodation options. Unfortunately however a Gift Voucher with HERO-1234-4567 style codes can only be redeemed at the accommodation property it was purchased for.

Do Taronga Digital Accommodation Gift Cards expire?
Yes, Taronga Digital Accommodation Gift Cards are valid for three years from the date of issue. The expiry date will be clearly displayed on your digital card.
Can I reload or top up my gift card?
No, Taronga Digital Accommodation Gift Cards cannot be reloaded. Once the balance has been used, a new gift card can be purchased.
What happens if I lose my gift card email?
If you’ve lost your digital gift card email, please contact True Rewards customer support via truerewards.com.au/contact for assistance.

Can I exchange my gift card for cash?
No, Taronga Digital Accommodation Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
