Reptile & Amphibian Behind the Scenes

Reptile & Amphibian Behind the Scenes

Bookings open 12th April 2025

Calling all reptile lovers! Go behind-the-scenes at ARC

Go behind the scenes at Taronga's Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Centre, ARC. During this experience you will meet one of our passionate Reptile Keepers, tour behind the scenes, and see some curious creatures up close. Get a glimpse of a day in a life of our keepers and how they adapt to survive and thrive in our diverse Aussie climates.

You'll also get to see our conservation rooms and learn how Taronga delivers critical conservation programs for some of our most threatened reptiles and amphibians, including the iconic Corroboree and Booroolong Frogs.

Each experience will be unique, allowing our keepers to let the individual animals shine and share their personal stories.

  • Tickets are available from 9.00am on the day of the encounter from the Retail Shop at Top Plaza (Map Ref. 7L)
  • Meeting point for the experience is at the bottom road of the ARC building (Map Ref. G7), the same road as Seal Theatre
  • Photos and videos allowed at the discretion of the Taronga Reptile Keeper
