Stay overnight at Taronga Zoo
ZooSnooz is Taronga Zoo’s unforgettable overnight adventure. Designed especially for school groups, this immersive experience invites students to feel the magic of nature all around them as they explore the Zoo at night. Along the way, they build teamwork and camp skills while forging lifelong connections with the natural world. From close-up wildlife encounters to guided evening torchlight walks and exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences, ZooSnooz offers a truly one-of-a-kind camp adventure.

Explore the Zoo on a night walk and early morning walk
Fall alseep to the sounds of wildlife at the campsite
Continue the adventure with Zoo entry the following day

Bookings for 2027 will open in Week 1 of Term 4 2026.
To be placed on our waiting list, please email education@zoo.nsw.gov.au with your school name and student numbers. We will email wait-listed schools throughout the year if any dates become available.
Accommodation options
ZooSnooz offers two accommodation locations depending on the number of students attending. For large groups, a combination of both sites will be used.

| Cancellation fee - within 30 days of visit** | Deposit + $500.00 |

| Bookings that reduce their student numbers by more than 20% from their original booking number. | $1,000.00 |
*Extra adult numbers must be negotiated at the time of booking.
**All cancellations must be notified in writing to education@zoo.nsw.gov.au as soon as possible.
