There was a partial power outage at Taronga Zoo just after 1pm today. Back-up generators immediately came into effect and all the animals remain safely contained. The back-up generator for the Sky Safari also came into effect and visitors safely exited the cable car via the normal exits. Due to impacts to the guest experience we have decided to halt admissions for the afternoon and encourage any guests to return another day.
