Stay overnight at the Zoo - this unique overnight experience offers school students the opportunity to learn about animals, the environment and what we can all do to help make a difference for wildlife.
Taronga Western Plains Zoo offers school work experience opportunities for students in years 10 – 12 who are interested in pursuing a career in Zoo Keeping.
Interested in a career in the animal care industry? This course is specially designed as a HSC program for students in year 11 or 12 while undertaking their stage 6 studies.
Taronga’s Youth at the Zoo program (YATZ) gives teens the opportunity to learn more about how our Zoos operate, develop skills for the future and spend time with like-minded people who share a passion for animals and conservation.
