The female calf spent more time in the paddock with the rest
of the herd today. The other calves, Luk Chai and Pathi Harn, seem to be more
interested with her and Luk chai was seen looping his trunk around hers. As the
calf is still only a couple of days old she can be seen close by her protective
mother Pak Boon.
With an overcast morning, both Luk Chai and Pathi Harn took
to the water for a roll and tumble. The male calves were seen splashing and
scrambling all over each other, with the elder male calf, Luk Chai, seeming to
hold the upper hand. - Zoo Communications
