Grant Denyer from Sunrise today visited Taronga Western Plains Zoo to launch the naming competition for the female Black Rhino calf, which was born on Wednesday 17 February 2010. The nine week old calf has been growing up and developing well under the watchful eye of mother Bakhita.  The calf however is very curious and confident and will definitely keep mum on her toes especially as she gets older. To help name Bakhita’s calf simply visit the Sunrise website at http://au.tv.yahoo.com/sunrise/ and vote on your favourite name for the calf.  It is that simple!
