Ripley is on her way at being one of the newest stars of Taronga’s Free Flight Bird Show but, part of her training includes flying out of tricky situations. To prompt her for this, we train her to fly down steep descents by starting from the Bird Show stage and flying her down a 20metre drop to the road below. This training will come in handy for encouraging her out of tall trees and, will also build up her confidence in flying. This training is one of the final stages, so now all she has to do is conquer large crowds which she has experienced in her earlier training and, flying right over the tops of their heads!
