Get ready for an unforgettable experience at Taronga Zoo Sydney as Xbox ANZ and Microsoft ANZ bring you a thrilling event diving into the world of game design and development with the one and only Jens Bergensten, Chief Creative Officer at Mojang Studios, Swedish game designer and programmer known for leading the development of Minecraft.
Taking place onsite at Taronga Zoo, we invite you to join one of two FREE sessions taking place on Tuesday 25 June 2024. Complimentary same-day access to explore Taronga Zoo is also included in your registration.
High School event 2024
We encourage educators to bring select students who are interested in game design to attend this informative session from 1.30 - 2.30pm on Tuesday 25 June.
University event 2024
We encourage university students who are interested in game design to attend this informative session from 4.30 - 6.00pm on Tuesday 25 June.

Jens Bergensten, Chief Creative Officer, Mojang Studios
Jens Bergensten is a Swedish game designer and programmer, best known for leading the development of the successful “Minecraft” phenomenon. He was nominated as one of TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential persons in 2013, and Fast Company magazine’s The 100 Most Creative People in Business 2015. Since 2018 he has been Mojang Studios’ Chief Creative Officer and lead its creative ambitions in gaming and entertainment.
