Ms Leanne Pridham MEnv
Wildlife Conservation Officer
Leanne is passionate about wildlife conservation and has been working on a range of conservation projects over the past 15 years.
Prior to joining Taronga, she worked in the Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific on coastal and marine species conservation, supported the CEO and Board of WWF-Australia for 4 years and was also based in Southern Africa, working on a cheetah research and wildlife conflict management initiative in the Kalahari & Okavango Delta. In 2019 she project-managed Taronga’s involvement in the Lord Howe Island Rodent Eradication Project, which was the largest attempt of eradication attempted on an inhabited island.
Leanne is responsible for population management for exotic mammals at both Taronga Zoo and Taronga Western Plains Zoo, supports delivery of field conservation projects, as well as the administration of Taronga’s Conservation Partnerships and Field Conservation Grants programs.
