Stage 6: Tourism - People & Economic Activity

Stage 6: Tourism - People & Economic Activity

Overview

In this workshop students will learn about TWPZ as an economic enterprise operation at a local scale. Taronga educators will provide information on the nature of the Zoo as an economic enterprise, focusing on the linkages and flows of people, goods, services and ideas, and the effects of global changes on the Zoo’s operations.

It is highly recommended that schools book a Savannah Safari tour as part of their visit, to view the multi tourism award winning Zoofari Lodges while on board our Savannah Safari truck. Students will experience a unique guided tour amongst herds of African animals such as giraffes, rhinos, zebra and more.
