This immersive Minecraft Education workshop is hosted in the Amarti Education Centre at Taronga Western Plains Zoo and facilitated by Zoo Education Officers. In addition to engaging with the game and workbook, students will have the chance to meet some of the Centre's education animals—bringing the digital and natural worlds together.
Take on the role of an Eco Detective and protect biodiversity through real-world learning and digital play. Technical Requirements Each student will need:
- A device with internet access
- Minecraft Education app installed
- Their school email address and password (to log in)
- A fully charged device
✅ Check device compatibility and login details before the excursion. NOTE: Device loans may be available—please confirm availability when booking. Minecraft Education is free for students and teachers at NSW government schools. If your school has a Microsoft 365 license, you already have access.
