Overview
Zoo Keepers work mathematically every day to ensure that all animals in their care are healthy and safe.
Students will learn how to calculate daily dietary requirements, track animal weight, design enclosures and locate and apply measurement skills needed to navigate the Zoo. These resources allow students to explore the Zoo via Taronga TV from home or at school.
The below learning resources could be used before or after a Zoo visit or could serve as standalone learning tasks that can be completed at school.
