Keepers carried out a full census of Taronga’s feathertail glider collection last month and were delighted to see our successful breeding colony is going strong! The photo on the right shows one of our females with two joeys, both approximately nine weeks old.By now these little joeys have developed into “big” nestlings and will be soon venturing out onto display. The youngsters can be distinguished from the adults due to their much greyer colouration, compared with the brownish colours of the mature feathertail gliders. We have more joeys on the way too, so the scuttling of little glider feet will continue!- Keeper, Rob Dockerill
