Did you know that many incredible African animal species like African Elephants, Rhinoceros, primates, antelope and birds are at risk because of illegal snaring and shooting of animals for the Bush Meat trade?
Wildlife rangers around the world help protect precious wildlife. They are on the frontline, providing security for both people and wildlife, preventing or following-up cattle raids, patrolling and providing intelligence against poachers and monitoring wildlife populations.
Thursday July 31st is World Ranger Day, a day to thank and honour them for their brave work looking out for wildlife.
