The Zoo is home to over 700 animals including Elephants, Lions, Giraffe, Meerkats, Rhinos and more. Plan your day around daily Keeper Activities (free with Zoo ticket) and have fun exploring the circuit, paths and trails. You can get around the Zoo on foot or by car, bike or cart (both available for hire). There are also special add on experiences such as tours, encounters and overnight stays.
Wild new arrivals
There are some youngsters to see including three lion cubs! The trio were born to experienced mother Marion in early October.
Summer will be the pawfect time to visit and see them interact and play with Marion, dad Lwazi and the other members of their pride. Viewing times: 10am - 2pm daily.
The Waterhole
When on safari, you’ll want to hang out at the Waterhole! Featuring waterplay, animal habitats and a café.
Entry is included in your zoo ticket.

For a real safari adventure, hire a bike, electric safari cart or experience our brand-new pedal boats! You can also explore the Zoo circuit in your own car or on foot.
