Would you like to help the Taronga Training Institute (TTI) provide exceptional training and support to future animal care professionals? TTI is Taronga Zoo’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and we train students in a variety of animal care courses including the Certificate II in Animal Care and the Certificate III in Wildlife and Exhibited Animal Care. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join the TTI team to help with administration duties such as photocopying, printing, filing, data entry, office tidying and organising. This is an opportunity for someone to support education programs at Taronga Zoo and contribute towards supporting the next generation of zookeepers. 
 

The purpose of the role is to:

Assist with tasks such as filing, data entry, printing, scanning and sorting of equipment. The role also uses a range of electronic systems, maintains records to ensure compliance with required standards and receives/makes phone calls and send emails as necessary.                                                                

To be successful in this role you will:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
• Intermediate computer proficiency and advanced communication skills 
• A genuine interest in animal care and a commitment to supporting the training of future animal care professionals
• Effective time management skills
• Adaptability and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks as needed
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
• The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity
