This Book Week lockdown lesson will feature a special appearance from award-winning Author & Illustrator, Sami Bayly, as she talks about her shortlisted book, The Illustrated Encyclopedia of Dangerous Animals!

Sami Bayly is both a natural history illustrator and an author based in Armidale, who loves all things weird and wonderful. This is the second session Sami Bayly has joined us in for Book Week!

In this session

  • Learn all about Sami's experience of not only writing her book, but also illustrating every species! Each animal being one of the world's most dangerous - some of which reside at Taronga Zoo!

The Encyclopaedia of Dangerous Animals

Get ready to get up close (virtually) with some of Taronga’s amazing animals with a digital lesson led by a qualified member of our teaching staff.

This lesson will be made available to watch all day, any time from 11.30am.
