Bequest Assistant – Volunteer – Taronga Zoo Taronga Conservation Society Australia is a not-for-profit organisation and relies on funding from generous donors to continue the wide range of conservation activities in Australia and globally. From breed and release programs for native Australian species to conservation partnerships around the world. Helping injured animals in Taronga’s wildlife hospitals and educating children and adults at our Zoos and in the community. Bequests make up a large portion of the income for to the Taronga Foundation. This role will support the Bequest Officer in engaging with Taronga’s most committed supporters – our Friends of the Future, who have committed to Taronga leaving a gift in their Will.

Taronga Training Institute – Administrative Volunteer – Taronga Zoo Would you like to help out with supporting delivery of training to the next generation of Zoo Keepers, and Animal Care and Tourism Professionals? The Taronga Training Institute is Taronga Zoo’s Registered Training Organisation (RTO). We train over 200 students a year in a variety of courses and subjects including Animal Studies, Captive Animal Management & Tourism.
